Ganchi, the local mafia leader, has joined forces with Mishra, the superintendent of Police, to build an empire based on the illegal opium trade. Nabeed, one of Ganchi's associates, has broken away to establish a rival domain in Sherpur. The arrival of Arjun Varma, an upright officer from the narcotics department, exposes the unlawful opium dealings of both factions. Meanwhile, the narrative follows the journey of Tipu, a skilled two-wheeler mechanic with ties to the Ganchi gang following his father's murder by two henchmen.

The series shines in its quirky characters, seamlessly integrated into the plot and the local backdrop. The late Satish Kaushik impresses in his role as Sr. Ganchi, leaving viewers yearning for more of his untapped talent. Rajkummar Rao excels as Tipu, portraying a character on the edge of buffoonery with finesse. Dulquer Salmaan's Hindi series debut is a testament to his natural and effortless acting.
